Bio

Cali Traina Blume is a passionate graphic designer and educator hailing from the vibrant city of New Orleans, LA. With a BFA in graphic design from Loyola University New Orleans, she currently serves as an adjunct professor there, sharing her knowledge and experience with the next generation of designers.

In addition to her teaching role, Cali also takes pride in overseeing The Collective, a student-run design firm. Through this initiative, she empowers students to apply their creativity and problem-solving skills to real-world projects, fostering their professional growth and preparing them for successful careers in the industry.

Cali is constantly seeking inspiration from various sources. Outside of her professional pursuits, she has a deep passion for viticulture and enjoys studying the art and science of winemaking. Additionally, Cali finds solace and excitement in attending heavy metal shows. She appreciates the artistry and intensity that heavy metal brings to the stage, and it serves as a source of inspiration for her own creative endeavors.

Driven by her personal values of integrity, collaboration, and continuous growth, Cali believes in the power of design to make a positive impact on her community. She strives to create designs that not only captivate visually but also communicate messages effectively, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
